Summary: Some students at Bowie High School participate in a program called PALS, where they go and mentor children at the local elementary school. This program aims to help the PALees get through the hard times, and the PALS learn more about others situations. Who? Bowie PALS.

Student Life:Freshman Andrea Findley's family travels to Uganda and Rwanda to study war and help the disadvantaged

Summary: Freshman Andrea Findley and her family visited Rwanda and Uganda over the past summer, and were able to meet people in difficult situations and assist those who they were able to.

News: Seniors receive nostalgia with four-year-old letters.
Summary: The class of 2016 recently got the letters they wrote as freshman, and were able to look back and reflect on what they have done so far in their high school careers. Who? Seniors.

Why? Because the letters remind them of what they were like four years ago.

Summary:The bowie baseball team has been working diligently, in hopes of winning district, the coaches are training the players so that the team will come out on top.

Summary: The award winning Band director Kim SHuttleworth, is leaving Bowie High School after this year.

Why? The band director is starting a new band program at a new school.

Commentary: Drug dog investigations have students feeling as though their rights are being violated

Summary: Bowie High School students feel that the constant drug testing by dogs is a violation of their constitutional rights.

Summary: In the past decade, many millennial voters are not present in the voting polls, and this sparks concern for the upcoming presidential race.

1. What is your favorite photo in the entire paper? My favorite image was the image on page ten, (Speed skating around the world)

2. What is your least favorite photo in the entire paper? My least favorite image was the one on the front page.
2A. Why is this your least favorite? I feel like it didn't relate to the story.

3. If you were a photographer on staff, which event/photo assignment would you have liked to do for this issue? I would have liked to done the image of the baseball team, because I enjoy doing sports photography.

4. Overall, how would you rate the photography in this issue? I think the photography in this issue was strong, although sometimes it is hard to tell how the image really relates to the story.
