CE 1.5

1. Why would the Pope meeting with Kentucky's Kim Davis, the clerk who refused to issue same sex marriages, be a story in this newspaper. In your opinion? Page A3 "Pope met with Kentucky clerk"
The Pope most likely met with Kim Davis because she did something because of her religion and The Pope might praise her on making choices based on her beliefs, but then again The Pope believes in religious freedom (including marriage) so he could have just met to discuss why she made that decision.

2. How much support (%) from the general Texas population increase in the past five years, according to the Texas Lyceum poll on the topics of same sex marriage and marijuana legalization? Page B1 "Pot, gays gaining support"
The Texas population supporting same sex marriage has increased by about 20% according to the lyceum poll. Marijuana legalization support has increased by 13% in Texas.

3. What were three of the six other key findings of the Lyceum poll, according to the same story?
The Lyceum poll also found that two thirds of those asked supported the $800 million dollar border security proposition, %65 percent supported the federal action to stop deportation, and 28% opposed immigrants getting education or work permits.

4. What is unique about the Lyceum poll, according to the same story?
The Lyceum poll is unique because it looked at the whole states
population versus likely voters or voters.

A wearable is a wearable form of technology such as a watch or a blue tooth. We are starting to see them more and more in technology because they have become popular due to their convenience. People like them because they are much easier to use and carry around. For example, using a smartphone instead of carrying around a laptop. Personally I like the newer and improved hearing aids. My best friend has 50% hearing loss in both ears, and she is getting the new iPhone enabled hearing aids, and they can work with her phone, which I find interesting. Just the fact that we now have hearing aids to help people who have hearing impairments is a major technological advancement.I think that in the future we will see more and more wearables because of how easy they make things. I personally have a fit bit which qualifies as a wearable. I find extremely useful, because it tells you information, and you have access to it whenever you are wearing it, and that makes things simple and easy.
